UNIQLO Reports Sales for May 2015 Increased by 12.3%

Tokyo, Japan – Uniqlo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer. The company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. since November 2005, and is listed in the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

UNIQLO reported May 2015 same-store sales increased by 12.3% year on year while sales at our directly-run stores increased by 12.2%.

Sales Comment:

Total sales including online sales increased by 12.8%.

Same-store sales increased year on year in May, thanks to unusually hot weather during the month, buoyant sales over Japan’s Golden Week holiday and a strong Fast Retailing anniversary sale.
