Kansas, United States – INVISTA’s CORDURA® brand announced Durable Design Achievement Award to be presented to Manhattan Portage at the 2016 Outdoor Retailer Winter Market Show. The award recognizes a company or person’s commitment to crafting high performance gear or garments that utilize CORDURA® fabric in the product design. The latest collection from Manhattan Portage featuring CORDURA® fabrics will be on display at the CORDURA® Brand Booth #39213 in Salt Lake City, Jan. 7-9.
Award pays homage to more than 30 years of innovation

The latest collaboration, “Bags to the Future”, pays homage to the 1980’s and holds value for both brands in more ways than one. Not only is the 80’s inspired collection based on original Manhattan Portage pieces from that era, the brand’s messenger bag expertise combined with legendary CORDURA® fabric durability bring together 80 years of innovation to on-the-go gear.
